About Us
Our Vision - Inclusive, vibrant and evolving
Etz Chayim is an inclusive, vibrant and evolving progressive Jewish community, connecting generation to generation.
We are a warm and friendly community that nurtures spirituality, learning and Jewish continuity. We we believe in, and foster, an ever-developing progressive view of Judaism as a way of life. We continually redefine what it means to be Jewish today by reaching beyond the walls of our synagogue to worship, learn, serve and support our community.
Our Mission & Values - Cultivating and connecting people
We provide a whole-of-life experience, including life cycle events, festivals and social engagement opportunities. Our safe and welcoming community supports the development and expression of every individual’s relationship with Judaism.
Our Community
Etz Chayim is ably supported by a small, enthusiastic team of professional staff, as well as many volunteers. With the full support of the community, we have achieved ‘a wonderful place to be Jewish’. Whether focusing on youth or seniors, fun or finances, learning or playing, we welcome your support and new ideas.
